Kurt Douglass

Exercise Physiologist
Kurt-Douglass

Kurt is an accredited Exercise physiologist whose aim is to equip you with knowledge and the right tools to unlock your potential, achieve your goals, and enhance your overall quality of life. His mix of expertise and easy-going nature means he loves to have a yarn and hear about your unique story, to then piece together a puzzle and then collaborate to create a program that will suit your individual needs.

From a young age Kurt has been involved with sport and the outdoors and continues to compete in touch football and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. His journey began studying a Bachelor of Exercise Science, originally to work alongside athletes in sporting teams but once exposed to clinical population settings, he saw first-hand the impact exercise can have and the satisfaction that came with helping individuals who need it most.

Kurt loves to work with anyone and everyone but is particularly passionate in the areas of

osteoporosis, Parkinson’s disease, oncology and geriatrics. He currently attends and presents at a monthly Parkinson’ disease support group in Palm Beach, runs an osteoporosis program at Canungra, works on the road in aged care as well as home visits, and works alongside Tasman Health Oncology.

Kurt’s interests include hiking/rock -climbing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, touch football, photography, bodyboarding and animals.
