Jess is extremely passionate about using movement as medicine and implementing meaningful evidence-based interventions to help individual’s achieve their goals.

Jess thrives on building meaningful relationships with her clients to understand their conditions and to then help them achieve their health and well-being goals. Jess prides herself on providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients and enjoys seeing her clients put themselves first. 

Jess enjoys working with all individuals and believes that the benefits of exercise span much further than just the session in the gym, she experiences great fulfilment when clients notice the benefits in their everyday activities and is one of the many reasons she wanted to become an Exercise Physiologist.

Jess has a keen interest in Women’s Health particularly in supporting and facilitating exercise in the Pregnancy and Post-Partum periods as well as supporting women with prehabilitation and rehabilitation through their Breast Cancer journeys.   

Jess is a qualified Matwork and Reformer Pilates instructor but enjoys implementing evidence-based exercise interventions in all capacities including resistance, aerobic and hydrotherapy-based movement. Jess practices from our Varsity Lakes clinic at Temple Gym.  

Jess’s hobbies include: 

  • Exercise in all forms – she loves swimming, running and Pilates 
  • Being creative – she can be found doing all sorts of crafty activities 
  • Eating delicious food 
  • Offshore Kayak Fishing  
  • Surfing and any beach-related activity 
  • Playing and watching basketball  
  • Running 
  • Hiking

Classes

In addition to our one-on-one sessions, we offer group classes that target a variety of conditions, such as chronic pain and bone health through to specific neurological conditions.
