Being overweight or obese increases the chance of developing many chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, asthma, back problems, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and some cancers. There are many weight loss programs and services in the market, however, at Atkins Health, we look at your history, your current challenges (movement, physical fitness challenges or injuries), we work with you on your goals and create your tailored strategy for weight loss.

You will need to mix different types of exercises – aerobic, strength training and potentially Pilates, these could be one-on-one sessions or group classes. This is where your weight loss strategy session with our practitioner will help. It will lay down a foundation for your program based on your goals, your current fitness levels, any ailments or injuries that need to be considered. and the types of exercises that would together give you the desired results you want. 

Once you have a tailored program under the guidance of our practitioners, we then conduct six-weekly reviews to ensure you are reaching your goals, and to set new ones. Upon review, over 90% of our customers report to having achieved or exceeded their goals!

An initial 45 minute assessment with one of our practitioners is required for us to understand your current health status, lifestyle and goals.

Follow your pathway

One-on-one or group classes

We will design a customised program specifically for you to follow to reach your goals, be that at one of our gym-based clinics, at home, or through telehealth coaching.

Review and Improve

Six-Weekly Reviews

We conduct six-weekly assessments to ensure that we review your achievements against your goals, and reset requirements for the next period.
