It all started when…
I have always had a strong passion for health and fitness. Growing up I was always involved in a wide variety of sports so it was a natural progression to follow this passion for exercise and make it my career. Whilst completing my degree in exercise science I undertook a placement alongside an Exercise Physiologist. It was here that I was able to see first-hand the impact that exercise therapy had on managing chronic diseases and injuries. I instantly knew this was the profession for me.
Being an Exercise Physiologist has allowed me to help educate and motivate individuals with varying conditions to improve their health and quality of life through exercise interventions and lifestyle modifications. It is incredibly rewarding for me as a practitioner to help these individuals achieve the goals they didn’t think they could achieve and seeing the positive changes it has on their life.
